LIPSTICKS & GLOSSES: I am obsessed with French Skirt! It is the second one down in the picture above. It is flirty and fun with just a touch of shimmer. It really makes your skin look golden and dewy. My husband also liked this one best. My next favorite is the Sugar Sugar. It is the bottom picture on the left side and is goes on almost bubble gum pink for a youthfully fun shade. I love wearing this one with my floral leggings and chunky necklaces or pearls. It couldn’t be more girly! I was also smitten with Fierce and it’s edgy, dark look. I felt best in this lipstick with a tight top knot bun and a form fitting black outfit. This was not however my hubby’s favorite. He likes the pinks and mattes more but I sure did get lots of compliments from my fashion forward friends with this shade! Cabernet Kiss lipgloss (in the middle bottom picture) was another bold color that I loved when I wanted some depth to my lips but didn’t want to go all the way out with Fierce. The bottom right picture shows another great shade, Flirt With Me, which was fun and perfect for just a splash of color. I topped it with Cotton Candy lipgloss for the perfect combination of color, texture and smell…yum!
EYESHADOWS: Ok let’s just start by saying how cool the Collector’s addition Z-Pallette is for holding your little eyeshadow beauties. They magnetically stick which make them perfect for traveling. My only wish would be a mirror the size of the top there when you open it up because it would allow you to see nearly all of your face to do makeup on-the-go. I loved the gentle sweetness of Pixie Dust for the covering of my entire lid. When I wanted to look natural I just used this but it also made the best base for my more bold eye looks. Iced Mocha was my favorite color with it’s gentle shimmer. I loved accenting with this color on my inner eyelids and just below my brow arch. Brownie Points was a great color for the crease and outer corners of my eyelid when wanting bold but not smoldering. Graphite Glam was the perfect color for doing smoky eyes. It was always my first choice for a night out on the town!
